PPG MTH Buttercup Character Design Sketches

Part of a Digital Painting project where we had to create character design sheets. We only had to do one and be an original character. But at the time I was consumed with the Powerpuff Girls More Than Human fanfic. I got an okay for doing that because they're redesigns.

Usually when I doodle Buttercup I give her a cute face with a contrasting sharp look. But thinking it over and considering the fanfic I rethought that and made her face sharper.

Buttercup was my favorite in the cartoon. But in terms of the fanfic my favorite is the reds coupling, because that's where I get my kind of sadistic joys.
